Have this great clip for almost a year on the Canon 100 / 2.8 L IS in use. She was a year ago already significantly cheaper than the C ....- counterpart. And today the latter is 6x as expensive ???? Can not be true !!!

The clamp on my 100 / 2.8L IS
- Is made of diecast aluminum,
- Lacquered in lens color,
- Will not budge,
- It does not obstruct the battery grip,
- Both to this great clip, as well as the battery grip of 6d I have ever attached a quick release plate to have especially in Macro recordings regarding the optimal tripod mount all options.

The part is so good, that I have to assume it would be an original part!
Well, but it's not! is only 6x cheaper than the original!
And the latter (a simple die-cast aluminum ring with the screw !!!) costs one-sixth of the 100 / 2.8L lens !!
Sometimes one does not understand the world !!!
