I loved the music from the very beginning, I was when it came out a 6-year boy who was playing with his Lego figures while THE FLY and Mysterious Ways ran on MTV and I've loved these songs back then.
Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this Deluxe Edition somewhat, though it contains all the songs from the original album remastered version plus 14 extra bonus tracks consisting of B sides and remixes.
- I have already bought the album from 1991 a few years ago (around 2008) on CD, remastered the songs sound really not, because I can find very little difference to the original
- The bonus tracks are ok for me, for the fan who already owns all the songs and rarities, but nothing new. The fan should already have these songs all
- Night and Day the Cole Porter cover version that came out in 1990 is included here though, but in a horrible remix version and not in the original version, but it can be found here no indication that this song is in a remix version
- No digital booklet !!! What a shame, the Cd version costs 13.98 euros with as much as the digital version. While there is an x-side and thick booklet in the digital version of the digital booklet missing here completely,
A great pity, because the recorded images from this era by Anton Corbijn, are true works of art,
In addition, no information or texts etc.
- It seems to be a mistake, because when NIGHT AND DAY the song suddenly stops, or the last 10 seconds are not any available. It stops while Bono sings.
