I'm not quite sure if I should find really great, or just mediocre this CD now. There are on this record quite very successful pieces, where Netrebko can present all the advantages of her voice. On the other hand, however, it seems as if her voice a little too weak for some of the great dramatic coloratura parts and also some uncertainties significantly. La Traviata: Although your Violetta is not earth-shattering, but still worth listening. The breakneck coloratura she copes with flying colors and the basic character of the aria musikalischc'll recognize. She sings of pure joy and can express Violetta's life feel credible by her singing. The so vaunted in the booklet it is high, however, a matter of taste. For my taste it is quite short and dull. La Sonnambula: A magnificent recording, probably the best on this CD. The elegiac passages in "Ah! Non credea" are presented very touching and heartbreaking. The voice is capable of generating wonderful piano tones, which truly go under your skin. The Cabaletta is wonderful. Here Netrebko brliiert with brilliant high notes and coloratura runs flawless. Her voice is made for Bellini like! I Puritani: Just as the Sonnambula beautifully sung. Especially the Cabaletta is sumptuously decorated and all difficulties be carried out safely. The "O rendetemi la speme" is a bit bland for my taste, especially when you compare Netrebko's interpretation of Maria Callas. An otherwise but very nice! Lucia di Lammermoor This is my favorite opera. The mad scene I've heard from hundreds of different performers and unfortunately I have to say that Netrebko's version is not necessarily one of the highlights. On the one hand, I find that you prefer the flute as the glass harp are used, as these may sound uncomfortable clinking and hard in some places would have. Netrebko's singing is indeed a virtuoso, but by no means unique. It is not fully grasp the character will be able, if you can tell in just a single aria. They sound a bit shrill high notes and go as snow, as they are gekomen. Too Bad !!! Otello and Gianni Shicchi This shot is gorgeous. Netrebko sings beautifully the song of the willow and the "Ave Maria" is also very impressive. Netrebko is quite capable of the parts to sing again. What is particularly amazing is that it has this game never before sung on stage, but is capable of such an impressive and perfect portrait of the figure to create. Also, the "O mio babbino caro" has become very good. Netrebko sings very tender and soft. Your interpretation is somewhat reminiscent of that of Maria Callas. The orchestra and the choir are very good. Claudio Abbado conducts very engaging, and in the spirit of bel canto. Who should now think you need this CD is not for sale, you are wrong. I would say that this Recital their first exceeds by far. Although Netrebko's voice may not be created for each role, but it is still very worth listening to and is able to enchant at certain moments.
