The very first impression when you unpack:
Those things are * really * shaving mirror. That's when the competition also so but who still does not use a tablet, which is perhaps not to this extent clear: If you previously set up you can see a crystal clear mirror image of himself and can see every little blackhead on the nose in detail.
Otherwise, the part is valuable and in addition to the ridiculously short cable anything negative I noticed. The tablet looks great.
The many positive properties of the tablet are aware, but I describe them here not - that can be read in many other reviews.
So here my only criticism:
The tablet does not have enough power and it hakelt and lags noticeably.
For surfing:
news.google.de opened and serviced on edge until it has finished loading. Then rotate to landscape mode: It will take about 3 to 4 seconds until the page is re-rendered finish. The elements jump more times to a new location until the rendering completed. With a CPU monitor, such as Cool Tool you can watch in the overlay as the CPU of the tablet during which jumps to the full 1GHz and runs against the stop.
Alternative browsers alleviate the pain somewhat, but the basic problem is the same: Dolphin browser is a bit faster, Chrome much faster (approximately 2 seconds) and Firefox would be the fastest - but for me is not usable because it uses any bad readable fonts instead the default fonts.
Sample photo gallery:
I am an ambitious amateur photographer and a 10 '' - Tablet is actually sure to look or herzuzeigen his photos. So I once jpegs loaded from my last trip about 100 on the tablet. Size all around 2MB.
The standard gallery goes schonmal not, because she needs to make sharp seconds to the photo. Ie it will only be loaded into a interlaceten mud preview, then wait, wait, wait, wait ... sharp. If you zoom and back and pushes can watch properly as the painfully sharp images are provided. Ie above even mud and down already sharply and slowly it gets even up sharply. Take time casually a few photos back and forth since Swype not.
Good: Maybe it 2 MB per photo are indeed too much. That's why I expected him down the images to 1200x800 pixels bite-sized (about 300Kb / Photo) and served again. Little better.
The Gallery app from FS-browser displays the pictures while sharply but jerky when Swype very unangehm. Here's how: sliding the current photo to the left and the new photo comes from the right reingeruckelt. Only a few large stuttering and then more and more small and at the end of a few micro-stuttering until the new photo from the right is then available and can be watched. Only QuickPick as an app manages passable but not good.
Conclusion:
For me, a tablet is a toy and if I do not zugreife in the very lower price regions, then it must also be fun and run smoothly. In addition, it would be nice if it had the time of purchase anything else reserves and not already would run against the stop. For 400 euro invested my tablet is not liquid enough.
In my opinion, you can then access either in the very lower price area at the 100 Euro Tablets and know that it hakelt and jerky but thus make his peace, or what you have to grab more expensive. The other Tegra 3 / Quad Core Tables but also their problems and cost a lot of money, which is why I will personally watch in 6-12 months again, whether there will be a chic quad-core tablet at a good price, which also everything else fits.
