SLX350 motorcycle Navi

Since now almost 2 months and over 3000km I have the 350 SLX find in operation and, the purchase was worth it. But first times the few points that have prevented me from giving full 5 stars and hope at Pearl reads to someone and improved, would be easy;
- Manual: the supplied is not just about running out, but also wrong. There is no charge lamp. also would be a small indication of the included on the DVD 80 page manual helpful. This should, however, also have a little more content. For example, is nowhere written that one enters the start menu again by pressing the power button (very important)
- Active support for the motorcycle: the are obviously always poor contact while driving. This has been a driving - day the battery is not charged, but unloaded. This seems, as I have since learned from other users these Navis often to be the case. I then once sprayed into the contact pins WD40 and now the pins feathers supple and it is loaded.

Now after I had worked and tried me in the device and its idiosyncrasies, I gradually found that it represents for me a good replacement for my "Deceased" Navigon. Not only because it is waterproof (not tested due to lack of rain), but because it seems much more robust and solid sitting in its holder. Nothing wobbles.
Touch screen operation, even with gloves, if they are not too thick, work, only scrolling I wanted something less sensitive to me. So I end up sometimes by mistake in menu items that I did not want to click.

The screen is ok, clearly, would be slightly larger nice. The pity is that it is not so bright predecessor model. I could compare with a friend. Crashes I have not yet found, so it seems to work without problems.
Navigation errors are also no occurred, calculated a route is sufficiently fast for my taste, also the recalculation in case of deviation.

Praise nor for Pearl: The delivery was there already 2 days after ordering and thus 1 day earlier than announced.

When I wanted to have solved my problem charging, I initially had to do with the service on the phone: the fast and free, friendly and helpful, I was treated to a description of the problem with e-mail address. Afloat in this way was sent a replacement. Although the does not solve the real problem, but it was only once helpful to my little motorcycle tours now. Now that is customer oriented !!

So I would buy the device again, the price / performance ratio is really good. Now I hope but on a successor with a slightly larger screen.
