I had a typical hard drive and an SSD whose data I had to back up. Both were completely easily integrated into the housing. Rearing, running, push, plug it in and be happy. Thanks to new computer I was able to enjoy the same advantages USB3.0.
Meanwhile, the data are well secured - and I once had no more use for the hard drives and this case, I have the SSD that I have left in this case, now simply attached to my router as a network drive - I know - not optimal (a NAS would be better) but absolutely suitable times as a small exchange medium in the home network.
From me a strong buy recommendation. This small, lightweight thing that saved me real.
