The sound is strange, but not really pleasant: The unit makes music initially surprisingly loud. The 25 square meter listening room was sonicated vigorously and loudly even at 1/3 of the volume control. Also of clarity leaves the Amp little to be desired. A growling electric bass of my reference title (Jennifer Warnes, The Hunter - True Emotion) was equally clear from the speakers as the guitar of Stevie Ray Vaughn or Tom Beats. But the mids and highs were annoying after a few seconds - shrill, full of discordant distortions. Although every detail is heard, but the sound overall annoying after a minute. The vote (or you could say the sound) of the amplifier reminds me of Japanese smaller amps of the 80's such as Yamaha and Sansui. Analytical sound was called back then. In fact, you can hear a lot of detail and really loud, but it sounds slightly distorted and tone deaf. Not at all mine, I literally get a headache. I do also think of any really compelling application for this amp. He is a little too delicate built (especially the connectors), for stationary use it can indeed make a lot of volume of low power for mobile use. Properly musically but not sounds. Since I stay Kompaktanlage D-100 at the times as large as 8 amplifier part of a 20 year old Denon. The Amp is falling.
Has been tested and heard in typical installation (2-way Speaker with 17 cm bass and Vifa ring radiator, 2.5 mm No-name speaker cables in a bookcase positioned near a wall).
