Sure, the touchpad makes a "clack clack" but if you (as I always unconsciously) anyway when you click has a thumb on the bottom of the laptop, it's barely audible. The sound is caused probably by the lack of resistance on the site, because the notebook is really narrow.
It is in my opinion perfect for university & go! If you are demanding, then you should pick up a Macbook, here comes this ACER certainly not off, but for my needs it is perfectly okay!
It's really very easy and works fast, the keyboard is great and the touchpad is actually the only flaw as it sometimes works funny and it is this noise is there. For the price, however, it looks great, works fast and the word processor works great!
