I wanted an external HDD for a long time, I saw the test on digital (here: [...] and I decided on this model 1TB version (the 2TB version is still too expensive for me). It is small, fast and not too hot. I also bought the cover Western Digital here: It is perfect for that hard drive, in addition, there is room for storing USB3 cord. Three negatives anyway: 1- the cord supplied with is really really too small, I have bought an extension cord (but USB3), because I've been testing a USB2 cable does not achieve the maximum flow rates. 2 software is not very practical, not as much as I thought, so I use SyncToy that works wonders. 3- There is no On / Off button (as it is self-powered through USB) of the blow, disconnect it like this (in MARHE), I'm not sure this is good for the life !!! On the positive points: 1- Small (fits easily) 2 flow rates are excellent (approx. 90MB to read and write in Seq). I think on a modern PC can be better but I have an old motherboard so I use a PCI-E card U3S6 Asus to connect with USB3).
