Size:
Precisely. 3.8 inches rich in my opinion from perfect. The huge flagships of different manufacturers with about 4.8 inches do not fit in my pocket, I find the phone and I find impractical when operating unwieldy.
Display:
Top! The resolution of 480x800 pixels is sufficient. Sure, you can see on closer inspection the individual pixels and the top units are a little sharper. A really serious drawback I have but this may not yet realize. Brightness, color reproduction and contrast are very good and fine. By the way it is at this display to a LCD with an RGB matrix. I think that's much sharper than AMOLED displays with Pentile matrix as in the Galaxy S3 Mini.
Processing:
Even if it's just a plastic housing affects it but very well made. It creaks nothing and feels good. I think it feels even better, than the S3 with its piano lacquer. But is certainly a matter of taste.
Speed:
At first I was skeptical. Bring a 800MHz dual core over a single core 1000MHz? A clear answer: Yes! The device can be delay and quickly operate in direct (subjective) comparison of individual apps wins definitely the Ace. 2
Memory:
The memory is sufficient. I now have about 50 apps in use, including a navigation program that stores the map on the external SD. Result: Approximately one-third of the system memory is full.
GPS:
For me the really big wow factor. GPS is very important to me in the smartphone since the one hand I like insets it for car navigation, on the other hand at the sport like GPS tracking use. In addition, it is extremely helpful in city tours. So far I had only bad luck with my phones. The Ace 2 has (ie in absolute hardship) determined without A-GPS with no data connection to a large position change in the position of about 1.5 minutes. With A-GPS and data it takes a few seconds. GPS works even in many enclosed buildings, on the train, etc., sensational. Although Samsung is mentioned on its own website not even the Ace 2 accesses the way seemingly on Russian GLONASS satellites.
Battery:
Of course, the battery life is extremely dependent on what you do with the device. Since my usage behavior has not changed significantly, I can now already draw comparisons. I'll be in some cases even 2 days with a charge of! On average, there are about 1.5 days and thus still more than with other smartphones. Because after a day the battery was empty. But I'm assuming that the term of this battery will decrease soon, that was at the other devices always so.
By the way: Here the Ace 2 has no brightness sensor. For me, the display is usually placed on a very dark stage, probably is due to the relatively long battery life together.
Camera:
Granted a real weakness. For a few snapshots for Social Network Camera is good enough. Since I already have high standards but in the photo area makes for me no phone in the world sufficiently good photos and the point is not relevant for me.
Android Version:
To date there is still no update to Android 4.1. That's a shame, so far I have it but not even missed. That may be different if you have seen it once. Basically, however, one can also with Android 2.3.6. currently making all important.
Conclusion of the whole: For more than 200 EUR you get a top-featured smartphone that hide in terms of skills and opportunities before any premium model has. Even if the device is called the middle class or beginner smartphone, it turns me totally satisfied as a demanding user.
