With "The Third Man" is Enrico Rava and Stefano Bollani a very big hit! Rava shows once again as a seasoned size of his craft and shows especially in the ballads his inexhaustible creative power. Bollani case presents itself as very attentive and sensitive accompanist. Ever Like Rava better and, yes, controlled in the slow pieces. Particularly impressive document this in my opinion "Estate" and "Birth of a Butterfly". Wonderfully smoky bar feeling included. "Santa Teresa" is a wonderfully intimate duet that uses a style means too rarely used: the breaks.
The drive runs with me at the moment very often and again I am amazed at the subtle and compelling sound development. The music of the soft sounds can a einzunebeln completely. For me, a real highlight!
