So if you read through the reviews here on Amazon.com, then you get out of the game quickly the wrong impression. I summarize now times the facts together that are important to a game in my opinion:

1. Graphics
New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a polished version of its DS-colleagues with some elements from the Super Nintendo era. Anyone who has played Super Mario World on the SNES, will quickly discover many parallels. The graphics are a real eye-catcher. No Verpixlung, no jerking, no bugs - a dream. Here I forgive clear 5/5 points.

2. Control
There are two different control options in the game. Either you hold the Wii Remote horizontally and thus simulates an old NES controller or one uses the Well-Chuk-control, which is the easier control for me. The Classic Controller is not supported, but not too disruptive. The game controls is accurate and smooth. Here you can not complain really. On older systems Mario & Co were much weaker when it came to responding to commands. Again, I forgive good conscience 5/5 points.

3. Difficulty
Well the one says: "The game I've played in 6 hours" ... but that's only possible if you're running as a Batty through the worlds and a Speedrun establishes. Always directly to your destination without dying, enjoy or wait times. Who can play a game right away so, should consider in order to make career. Normal mortals need much longer for the game.

Another says: "I come in World 2 and not have frustration No child's play." ... It's just hard for me to believe. Good. If a person already after 3-4 attempts throws in the towel and no ambition, he is stranded possibly in the world. But that is not the difficulty but the fighting spirit of the player. It would be deadly boring if everything would work out right away, right? Those who still does not manage, can skip the frustrating level and continue playing after 8 unsuccessful attempts.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a game for children, the difficulty is not applied too high. It lies in the average mediocrity.
