Positive
+ Material, weight and processing provide high value.
+ The E72 is comfortable to hold and easy to operate unexpectedly well in spite of small keys.
+ The battery runtime is absolutely gorgeous. I schäte times that you can get along than the average user so five days.
+ Rapid exchange facility between two self-defined profiles (eg for work and private life)
+ Nokia offers for this device a free push mail service on (unlike RIM / BlackBerry, where there is a fee)
+ The 5 megapixel camera makes good pictures.
Neutral
O The date software is quite useful.
O The dimensions of 114 x 58 cm just about ok and in no way less than that of comparable smartphones.
Negative
- Worst of my overloaded software and menu navigation is first noticed. Both provide for "newcomers" in the beginning of high frustration factor; the manual can not really help out here.
- The device does not have a touchscreen. For this you can navigate on the screen using the scroll pad; Unfortunately, this is only a non-continuously movable cursor. Overall, does this possibility of controlling little use and thus unnecessary.
- The resolution of the display is not only low, it affects the operation downright pixelated. The device is already so little for surfing or for multimedia applications.
- What have been addressed other buyers: The desktop is sometimes not "transparent". I Surf just with UMTS or WLAN? Is WiFi available at all? Etc ...
- The space bar is a bit too small.
I have returned the device again.
