I did not really have much experience with macros and for a hobby to pass the time, I must confess also that I am investing in really expensive lenses too stingy ... So I got myself this intention and after some practice, a lot of test images (with patient snail shells) came out there already amazing images. Disadvantage: you have to really get close to the object properly - is also guaranteed for each lens differently, unfortunately I can not bear really try - but if you times as 5 cm to the lens of this really disgusting spider is then removed, to pray secretly only that the cattle please just do not move. The output is then simply amazing - if you are lucky and this hyperactive insects times for Fokussierzeitraum (the untrained ever can take right) times do not move, you can count the eyes of Puck the housefly. Focusing is really exercise and at the shallow area is blurred quickly. However, color and contrast, I found perfectly fine.
The handling is easy in general. By snap version of the attachment is gone in a few seconds on the lens and just as fast. Disadvantage is the use of large (diameter) lenses - Vignette has here that is equal to free there when the focal length is not long enough. I use it like on the Canon 55-250 Zoom :)
Of course it can not be compared with a "real" macro lens. But who simply times close to nasty spiders, teeming Bees, beetles strange or intricate floral wants for little money, for this is a great introduction to the macro photography.
