First of all, it must be noted that the metalcore shares are indeed still remained felt and heard, but have remained reduced to a comfortable level to me. A few breakdowns can be found soon enough, but this in no way interfere. But the band has value placed on some rather pleasing guitar solos and -leads that sound fine and very homogeneously incorporated into the songs. The rhythm of work six strings can certainly be described as successful, whereas the drumming has become more not bad, in the long run but lacks a bit of variety. For the bass roars quite toasty through the songs and gives the disc the right depth. Vocally varies frontman Trevor as usual between more core lastigem nagging and quite useful growls, which can make itself heard.
The songs themselves have been very solid, without large outliers up or down. I can hear quite well for a while, after four or five tracks, however, arises a such thing as a habituation effect. However, this has the advantage that the relatively modest playing time has no effect as a negative point, because more likely to not be the disc. Not that the individual songs would be bad, but they are all relatively similar, which means that I even after eleven passes, the songs still can not name them. Is now not a doomsday, entertaining the shekel is still, but somehow I would have liked a bit more as expected.
Se Deflorate has become not a bad Melodeath album with mild core flip side, however, can me the complete works not knock your socks off. Solid food for genre fans, no more, no less. Only if this is suitable for the above-mentioned hype to stir up further, I dare at this point it out to doubt ...
