Yes, the game is fun, but you always get the feeling that EA is absolutely wanted to throw in time for Christmas on the market, because many things are simply executed claps just carelessly:
- The graphics are just plain bad. One sees no improvement as compared to the last NFS Share, and the comparison with other current racing games (eg Race Driver Grid) keeps it certainly was not. Added to this is that the game does not work despite the liquid no longer current graphics. At least that would have indeed expected.
- The plot is very thin. Is all well and good that EA has taken this time real scenes for the cutscenes, but you would have perhaps even to give some trouble in writing the screenplays. But if you drive aimlessly race and gets the job done without even knowing what is in the game is to reach the end / wants. That was much better in the zückliegenden NFS parts.
- The AI is not very smart. Ok, you could at a NFS game not really expect, but actually it's just weak that it does not hinbekommt at EA, finally to program a viable AI. Anyway, driving the opponent brainless as always and continue to require the tiresome to keep the racing exciting catch-up "feature" (the cars of enemies who are way behind, suddenly go faster and have better handling)
I would just wish that you look at EA once again takes the time to program a really good racing game, instead of trying to throw each year a new NFS on the market.
So NFS Undercover is a game that makes a lot of fun because it provides an easy entry and ensures fast action. But overall, it just seems inconsequential: with him one time and get rid of it - so it will look like. It is certainly not a game that you once again digs out in a few years because it has been so much fun.
