Overall, Brown is a solid razor, but for the performance offered in my opinion too expensive. Here are some of the main strengths and weaknesses of brown:
1. cleaning station. It does what it should, but takes a whole lot of space in the bathroom. From the advertised cleaning performance (10x more hygienic than tap water) I do not think much. With tap water, I wash my face, then reaching it. Also clean the shaver I use this so exclusively on your face (and only in one's own) - in "dual-use", the station has perhaps justified. What bothers me at the station is that the shaver then, somehow lemon, almost like Kloreiniger smells.
2. Here it comes the power supply probably common that makes this Whistling noises. Unfortunately, I have also frequently observed (always happens for a few minutes). That is totally annoying.
3. The travel case is nice because it's a hard case and thus one can dispense with a plastic cap on the shaving head.
4. The Brown is in operation relatively loud and vibrates relatively strong. That's better at Panasonic.
5. The long-hair trimmer is locked by pressing a button so that it does not open accidentally during shaving (to me at Panasonic has often happened).
6. The design is admittedly chic at Brown. However, he is also noticeably larger and heavier than the Panasonic, which is inconvenient when traveling.
Now we come to the main point: The shaving performance. The price expectations are naturally high. Unfortunately, these were only partly fulfilled. The shaving is neat, even a dense 3-day beard creates the brown in a few strokes. However, the shaving performance is not better than my old Panasonic. This cuts the hair namely rather a bit shorter (presumably because of the curved foil). To test I once until brown and then shaved to the directly to the Panasonic. The Panasonic was able to significantly remove what. Conversely test of Brown has even still get down a little, but significantly less.
The long-hair trimmer works, but it does not cut as cleanly as the Panasonic my sideburns.
Overall, Brown is a solid razor, but has some criticisms. I would not buy my brown yourself, to he is too expensive. A Panasonic for half doing it as well. Point deduction is available for the power supply and whistling the weaknesses in shaving performance and long-hair trimmer.
