The receiver has found all the stations and has a good reception quality. HD broadcasts look spectacular, such as nature documentaries on ARTE, where you can count the blades of grass. The SD channels look average in my eyes, so take advantage over my old receiver does not differ significantly from the upscaling. It probably comes down to what it was previously used and how well scaled the TV via Scart. If the TV has been well scaled via Scart, you will not automatically see when HDMI probably an improvement.
What irritated me were the very different reports on the SD picture quality. I now suspect that this is related to the setting of the TV Scart output, even if it is not used. Since I have this switch from FBAS to RGB, my feeling is certainly disappeared, that the image is too vague. There may be in the internal image processing here any connection, but that's just a guess.
The switching times are fine, and are mainly characterized by the half-second it takes for the receiver to the HDMI handshake. The image will be dark briefly each time.
Occasionally notify the Receiver handshake failure via HDMI, also on this was reported in various forums. I had this error very rarely (twice) and each time when switching, which was corrected by renewed switching.
Who puts on HD channels value, is, I think, with this receiver is not bad advice.
