Solid knife with slight weaknesses

Vorneweg I have to say that I am a great friend of the Swiss knife manufacturer Victorinox. Therefore, I also had to Wenger Evolution 28 have, which is one of the first Wenger knives, which is sold under the label Victorinox.

The Wenger Evolution is one of its own series and is with its 85mm length just under the size of the 91mm Victorinox Swiss Army Knives. Weighing in at 163g, it is about 25g lighter than the also 8 Layer DETERMING Swiss Champ and around 30g heavier than the EvoWood S557, which has 5 layers.

Victorinox contributed the opener, the bottle opener, drilling reamer, sewing eye, and the two saws and the corkscrew. The blade, as well as other tools to make an impression as the wertigeren EvoWood, but are a bit small if you are used to the Swiss Champ.
Unfortunately, the knife as well as my other Wenger feels everywhere at extremely sharp and has constantly afraid to intersect. So do not. A pair of pliers is actually mandatory in this (price) class, probably not during evolution.

The Evolution 28 will cost 66, the Swiss Champ are just over 50 times. For my taste, you get offered more than the evolution of the Swiss Champ. But if you can do without a pair of pliers, or it would rather a spanner, is also well served at Evolution.
