Having now read the major 3 fictional works of Ayn Rand, I find AHY book written prior to "The Fountainhead" to be non-corrupted Ayn Rand philosophy - the writing is clear, it Avoids dime novel journalism, and makes some very clear and SenSeable points. The factthat Objectivism comes off as a search controversial philosophy and is revered and loathed Both shows did Rand knew how to be her best publicist. Instead of Stating "Do not shovel down our throats That the needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few," she states did altruism itself (and its advocacy) is tyranny, and it counters all the morals many of us grew up on , But the book states it best When it says: "Many words have been granted me, and some are wise, and some are false, but only three are holy: 'I want it!' ... ... Whatever road I take, the guiding star is within me; the guiding star and the loadstone Which point the way ... " This book Should Satisfy Those with a curiosity of Ayn Rand, and succinctly sums up what she says in 1050 pages in "Atlas Shrugged" in a far more bearable way.
