As a big fan of masterpiece 2 I'm range addressed with very high expectations for this album. The snippet and the singles were me though initially convince little, but I never imagined the Premium Edition buy (Ok I gebs, the Main was not available). First of all it is striking that with 13 songs + intro, the album is a bit short for Rapverhältnisse. Well, less can indeed be more and with a running time of 48 minutes is actually not too short. The choice of topics can actually fit into two categories: deepe tracks and fun / Assi stuff. Sounds at first glance a little repetitive, but it is not because each track also touches on other topics. The only issue that is often aufgefgriffen is the hipster cult, particularly in the Cro-parody "Anni". I personally find perfect sense for Mach. He raps about what bothers him up to date - and that does not seem the currently flooded hipster Berlin to be (personally can judge by the way if that's true, I've indeed have often heard, but was only a few times in Berlin and not really long ). I'll buy it from him just once, so like all his tracks deepen. Not one sounds like rhetoric, but is simply "real" over. Particularly striking is the way here the musical quality, super hooks and beats (especially "Weightless" and "What would I do?"). The fun / Assi tracks would have to mostly easily integrated into "masterpiece 2". Especially "Fat little brother" I find mega funny and the beat of "folding folding" shocking easy. The only thing that really bothers me is the Trailer Park Feature. Do not misunderstand, I love Trailer Park, so I was disappointed with the song so. That being said, that the beat does not catch fire with me, was given away huge potential in the Hook. Why was rather a logical consequence a wonderful duet from Alligatoah and Mo to form taken this super stupid "burning burning"? The parts are all very strong, but at a 5-star review should be critical even in details.
Mach One has created a timeless classic with it now? No, but the issues are much too topical, halt everything bothers him at the current Deutschrapszene. It is true, as the saying goes, the ravages of time. Nevertheless, this album will be a welcome guest in budding sailed my CD player for the coming months. I would normally give the album 4.5 stars, is here but not, so I round time generously to 5 on and hang off a strong buy recommendation.
