THE SHOE:
The shoe itself looks first good. I have especially taken with this form of the flattened peaks - pointed shoes as the "Panama" I do not like in this category. This is too business-like.
The vamp looks beautiful and makes the whole shoe a quite "great impression". Good.
THE FIT:
At the very first Slip a large Ahhh! (Within the meaning of Ohhh! ;-)). A good feeling - no wonder I wear but otherwise always my Ranger. - The shoe feels light and soft and very fit. When binding the material clings softly to the foot. This gives me a sense uniform maintenance.
Unfortunately, the laces open fairly quickly - which has here someone already noted otherwise in his review.
After only about 20 minutes walking I have the same time a painful blister on the heel - the substance inside located holds the shoe in shape, thus creating a strong pressure on the heel edge. Leather is evenly after - not substance.
The shoe is very wide - now I understand why he felt the same as well Slip ... My Ranger are powerful Botten - the Camel exceeds the Ranger still in width. Too Bad.
Apropos I've got so an innate intermediate size 42 to 42.5 ie a 42.25 ;-) Unfortunately, there is no solution, so I'm always rely on a good chance when it comes to the fit of the shoes.
With the Camel I forward even a hint enough space, had 42. Fortunately, despite size. Fact is anyway: These shoes are in the length of almost exactly.
When running the Camel produces a felt driving through the soles - like a running shoe. I like that. It is easily and dynamically. If the initial problems with the press in the heel area disappear, I hope for a strong and dynamic shoe that I can use in long corridors at leisure.
The sole of the Camel is not as highly structured as with my Rangers. Overall, the Camel so do not look menacing, yet powerful.
CONCLUSION:
Something to wider shoe thereby optically slightly plump comes along. Fit very well initially, if there was not the pressure on the heel cap top. I hope this is still.
The shoe looks good overall.
The ride is very good.
Priced I find the shoe - in my view - a little too expensive.
The material in the shoe reminds me of bad experiences: cloth shoes or shoes with material interests produce fast "Käsemauken". I hope that does not happen with the Camel.
