As a child of the Eighties Soul I feel in Kieszas album "Sound Of A Woman" wonderfully at home. I admire her soprano voice which may sound fragile and very supporting powerful as befits a true soul singer. And as this woman can even dance incredibly well. No wonder, with her ballet background. The compilation of the songs has succeeded varied and melodious. For me Tanzmaus much is very danceable and beside the quiet heartbreak songs. Particularly it did to me, "What Is Love". Kieszas cover has for me vocally and atmospherically much more depth than the original. But so it goes well with my Johnny Cash Hurt interpretation.
