Songs for me, Truths for James!

"Songs for You, Truths for me", is the title of the second studio album by James Morrison.
The album is characterized by a great melancholy, as it knows of James already of "Undiscovered". Content, the songs are, among others, longing, love and separation.
Time peppy orchestrated, as in "The Only Night" sometimes thoughtful as in "Once When I Was Little" and something dreamy as in "Precious Love".
What I liked a lot of the album, the instrumentation and the lyrics (which James himself wrote) form a beautiful unity.
The result is a beautifully successful interaction of instruments, voice and texts.
It just seems to fit and not exaggerated. On Geschnörkel was waived and so this album might also be live very nicely presented.

However, you have James and his music style like in order to appreciate the album can.

My favorites from the album "You Make It Real", "Please dont stop the rain", "Love is hard", "Once When I Was Little" and the well-known "Broken Strings" feat. Nelly Furtado.

After the album "Undiscovered" (2006) Morrison puts in "Songs for You, Truths for Me" on proven and can not be influenced by the electronic-inspired mainstream, which currently prevails in the charts.

The presentation of the Deluxe Edition is very nice. Designed like a book with hard cover and a 38 page booklet, this edition already makes her a lot.
Very beautiful are the sites designed with many small writings and notes (kudos to those responsible!)

The bonus DVD is a nice touch. This is what performances will be on the song "You Make It Real", "Please dont stop the rain", "Broken Strings" (without Nelly Furtado), "Once When I Was Little", "Save Yourself", "If you dont want love me "and" Precious Love ".
Overall, James makes here also live a good figure, but unfortunately no audience. There are studio recordings, I miss this live atmosphere, which is why I believe that only true fans of the DVD last a lifetime will have.

In summary: Great album! DVD despite great performances more recommendable for true fans.
