"The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East" was published in 1971 for the first time as a double LP and is still attributed to many rock fans the best live albums. The photographs later appeared on double CD, remastered on single CD and in various high-end pressures. In addition, published in 1993, the double CD "The Fillmore Concerts" in which the recordings of "The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East" have been supplemented by more of the same concerts. "The Fillmore Concerts" was also mixed so that the impression of a continuous live recording emerged. "The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East - Deluxe Edition" contains all the photographs of the original double LP of 12 and 13 March 1971, six more shots, two of which on 27 June 1971 in the past on several other publications the band had been offered. Opposite "The Fillmore Concerts" is here but only an additional title added ("Midnight Rider"). The rise of "The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East - Deluxe Edition" is in the mix again transparent. Who called only "The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East" his own, should have access to all the cases here. Who "The Fillmore Concerts" has, however, will have to consider whether a title, very good pictures in the booklet and the better sound quality justify the purchase of the album.
