It is a model for the UK market with the same name only with 750 instead of 700. How did I get it, I will describe in a comment because it is not published in the main message.
3 stars for two major flaws which represent almost a KO criterion:
(1) no way to save the Internet radio station. The search for stations proves to be troublesome and often illogical, for a time it would be okay though, but if you have to carry it all the time, it gets on my nerves! Quote Sony customer service: "At present, the sender can not be stored or provided in this regard whether an update is displayed, we can not guarantee or predict..")
2) for me absolutely disappointing quality of service or distribution policy of Sony! This is a party that I ansi noble in upper middle-class and I expect therefore a little more seriousness. Answering the demand lasts for about 1 week and also I think it is cheeky to keep the German customers are stupid and which deprive a better model. The only difference is in the use of higher-quality DAB radio, which in Dtld. is in contrast to the conventional FM radio less common. Since it is invested dimensionally therein and the standard will be strongly expanded and promoted by the EU, it is a joke of Sony, to exclude the German customers. There finally is an investment for the future and not that you have to buy a new device in 3-4 years.
Positives:
1) Appearance: conservative, slightly retro, with a stylish touch
2) sound (I'm not an expert): very pure, clean, nice not annoying bass, clear highs, very pleasant!
3) very important to me: you can adjust the volume pleasant. It sounds self-evident, but in my old unit it was so that my volume at 2 to loud and annoying, at 1 in turn was too quiet to sleep. Here I can usually pleasant betw. 2 to 4 to select (depending on your connection)
4) Internet radio and TV channels top. Means also without problems, simply enter the network key again and the connection is established.
5) DAB Radio (okay, mostly public law as Bayern 1-5, but Galaxy and few others in a super quality)
Conclusion:
(Searched beta test customer! If there were serious alternatives, I would buy another device. Otherwise, wait for the improved devices.) If a device has to be her's, CMT MX750Ni a good and recommendable device.
