A star deduction is available for the following negative points:
- The operating system is completely underdeveloped. The PS4 is now already more often crashed or stuck as my PS3 in 5 years of operation in 3 days. I had ie extra copies the 1:51 update on a USB stick, but every time I wanted to start the update, the PS4 has hung. In the menu it is also already repeatedly stuck and out of the game, I'm kicked out several times because of some error. I hope that the stability with the next updates improved.
- Where is the hardware switch to turn on and off? I hate it when a device is permanently in standby and can not be off properly. Especially when the console gets stuck you have to pull the cumbersome power cord from the wall outlet or the console. This is a huge step backwards I also can not understand for me. Such a switch would have cost maybe a couple of cents. Especially in these times of energy transition etc. Everyone recommends that you should turn off the device properly and the manufacturers it does not matter. Just returned from a Japanese company because I had expected a little more sensitivity. Alone this point justifies at least one point deduction.
- Why the SONY PLAYSTATION Wireless Headset does not work? Since you buy a PlayStation headset and can not use it on the stupid PS4. Just embarrassing and annoying.
- Share button? Seriously? Those who want and need this?
- Plus 70 euros for a game PSN Plus subscription for online games too much.. With the new PS4 architecture such a big price difference to PC games is simply no longer justified. Actually should be cheaper than PS3 games PS4 games.
Sony still has some way to go until the console is doing what is expected of her. In my opinion, they would have even better times to wait a few months with the release. There are hardly any (exclusive) games, BLOD is obviously a bigger problem than we thought and the operating system is very unstable and many basic functions are missing.
