Sony has everything, absolutely everything done (Important) right!

UPDATE 02/06/2014:
Big shock: Power button, camera button and double-tapping function have woken up the device only sporadically.
Thus, the Sony Online Service was needed: Live Chat answer within 30 seconds: "This error is known to us, please update with our software PC Companion the device".
The download link was sent to me by mail, so drove 30 minutes and update everything fits again. Therefore, it remains at 5 stars - it is a pity that a unit on delivery under certain "App-states" as a bug shows, on the other hand I commend unlike Samsung this real-time support with problem solving. That was a week ago - there are still nothing negative at Z2 suspend. Very quickly, reliably and with a high fun factor!

This is the first impression after we were probably one of the first customer who has immediately struck at launch in the media market.

For comparison is a Samsung Galaxy S4 before, the S5 I do not know yet, it should be just as good, but we have the Samsung Repair Service catastrophic experiences collected (12 weeks total repair time and unit still defective) - and why - and because of some powerful arguments for Sony, we are changed.

***** Insanely quick keyboard, according to some tests, the fastest in the entire smartphone market - it also includes a significantly better Swype function as the S4

***** Runs noticeably smoother than the S4
***** With the latest Android device very easy - even for beginners
***** Now, finally, very good viewing angles and readability - not as colorful as the S4, but "honest" colors

***** Battery life in extreme use loosely over the day, with "normal" social media use two days

***** DEFINITELY better HSDPA connection with mobile network O2, where the S4 Edge has, one wonders that the Z2 H + has!

***** Knock twice on screen and the device wakes up, that's for my daughter the best feature and even cooler than the also existing S-view Cover Open Wakeup
***** The Throw function - (SmartShare) - throwing of content such as photos on a smart LG TV works on the same network at once
***** The default Android is not as cluttered as with Samsung
***** Camera functions and settings above ground ;-)
***** Search for the mobile phone in case of loss to complimentary registration at Sony possible (such as Samsung)
***** The display will remain on as long as the phone is held in the hand - I find super solved

**** Side charging port is not for everyone

*** When you load one can unfortunately quickly pull the cover completely, it needs before getting back friemeln, so dock a must (Sony, on purpose ???)
BUT: Actually, it's good that you can remove the cover completely, it's only for "under-water-use" available - if one is loading the right cumbersome plugging saving (eg in the car as a Navi-use o. ä.) is just left the cover at home. So has advantages and disadvantages.

neutral: permanently installed battery: debatable entitled. You have to say, the battery is powerful, high capacity and a better feeling is conveyed in terms of water resistance by the permanent attachment at S5. Probably the wonderful design would have gone flutes with battery cover. Normally keep current batteries loose by two years and a change should not be expensive - if someone is looking for a natural 10-year companion, a replaceable battery would possibly be a better choice

Negatives: The main control buttons I had placed as a developer as hardware buttons at the bottom of the rather large black border.

Had me a emergency assistant function as desired during S4. For this you have to buy ne quite expensive app.

In overall package and value for clear 5 Stars.

This is due to the latest version of Android and has nothing to do with the device. The aim is to better protect the privacy of the data on the SD card before app accesses. Allegedly, the developers are working on an Android update that again allows a folder / file management, yet the SD card largely protects.
