Finally my package has arrived. Beautifully packaged. Unfortunately, too beautiful, the centerpiece of the clock must cut out carefully from the plastic wrap will -at best without scratching the display case.
Heart put on the bracelet, turned on, connected to the smartphone and apps downloaded - made very intuitive, simple and beautiful. The finished clock looks very chic, the bracelet also makes a good, stable impression.
After I dug my way through the many settings throughout the apps and set everything according to my wishes, there is the question of the operation of the clock - that I had to but we will see in the manual. Very easy to use, unfortunately, but the display is smaller than thought, which is why the clock is not always react the first time - annoying but forgivable.
The brightness of the display is in the room well, under strong, direct sunlight ehrer sufficient:
The time is still easy to read, but to be read through messages and Facebook posts, the Displayhellig simply too low. I myself have no problem with that - I go les höchstensmal a ankommede SMS or Skip a song.
Here can be seen in the clock itself anything yet set, so the Displayhellig can not be changed and so on. Since the clock is but JDK-based, I am hopeful that some apps will appear, the brightness, touch sensitivity can change etc.
There are many fine Apps: Music, phone book, looking for cell phone, change ringer mode, Weather ... Sorry, no email app Whatsapp ?!
Calls are immediately displayed on the clock: The clock vibrates, displays the number, name and image. You can silently questions and accept / reject the call. Well done!
SMS and calendar reminder will also angezegit immediately - also very well done.
The menu is clear and simple. In my opinion, you could make the icons more beautiful, you can argue about it but.
Unfortunately, the clock sometimes loses the connection to the mobile phone, is just "more" Bluetooth 3.0 (so far there are only two mobile phones with BT 4.0 support).
Sports section:
Since I use the clock, especially with the Endomondo Sportapp in conjunction with a Bluetooth heart rate belt from Polar, here my sport test comes this:
First I had the problem that I could never find the Endomondoapp. After I dug myself for hours through Internet forums, I found the solution: You have to reinstall the app, then Endomondo is automatically displayed on the clock.
The app is beautiful and well laid out, what was important for me: The pulse appears on the clock!
Endomondo has 3 screens, on the 1st, the distance traveled and time is displayed on the 2nd lap time or speed and on the 3rd of the pulse.
The training can be started by a tip and pause or stopped. Up between the screens are replaced by wipe.
Since the numbers are quite large, the values can be read even in bright sunlight.
Unfortunately, the screen turns off each time after a few seconds (to save power)
which is why you always have to activate the display while running.
Because the display is quite small, the control is in run-especially if you schwitzt- quite heavy and you often unintentionally pauses the workout. Very annoying!
Much worse that the sleeve while running, the clock enable and training stop and you have to start again with a new workout as distance again 0km- what is really annoying.
The solution: umkrämpeln sleeves. Unfortunately in the winter certainly no solution. I hope Endomondo is this considered somewhat and the problem is fixed with the next update.
Nevertheless, the clock is very well done and gets until then I 4 of 5 stars.
