The Paul pickle bar is made entirely of chromed metal and indeed including the caps on the bar ends (even with poetry by the way - very good). The only exception is the sliding insert, with which slides the shower holder on the rod, and the ram pushing through the turnstile inside against the rod. This is material technically correct, because the holder otherwise does not slide and would scratch the rod. In my estimation, no life brake if you - and this is important - always put the Drehkeuz only slightly. And that works very well - whether wet or dry hands. The tilt adjustment for the shower head fixed with a worm screw (all from stainless steel - as befits). The shower head can be aligned continuously, keeps well, moved well and fixed well. Let's hope it stays that way. The holder has a good distance from the wall, so that the hose is not pressed against the tiles. The whole shower head carriage is a cleanly designed "real one".
By using existing holes you must observe the manufacturer's instructions to the distance. The bar does not cut or then. The specified tolerance arises because two Blechtellerchen be screwed to the wall, to which the rod is then placed and fastened with two screws worm. The little plates have 3 holes, two long holes. If you take for example when a plate of the upper hole and the other the bottom, then you get the maximum drill hole spacing. To map the tolerance space. Beyond the tolerances but nothing works.
There are at 4 stainless steel mounting screws and 4 dowels. As usual, almost everywhere the screws are too short and too thin and the dowels to be approved. You can even easily change, however, because the holes are big enough in small plates. I have used my old drill holes and only worked with the two screws, because I have no desire to perforate my tiles. If you can take the middle holes of the plate not (as in my case) then there is of course a potential lateral movement risk. The result is mounting but ok. A manual is not in - I do not need that also.
The design is straightforward, clear, visually "valent" and thus tend timeless, helping with for life. It looks simply like in the photo. The chrome is without blemish.
We are dealing with a middle-class well-made product, which could be long-lasting. The price is so cheap compared to the mainstream stuff. The country of origin has struck me nowhere. I would have no illusions about the name, it may well come from China.
For a top product my shower rod tube is a little too thin. If the engineers have done but clean work here, then it should hopefully keep still long. OK, the attachment plate can also be a little stronger, and the fixing screws and dowels of better Qualiät - a problem I do not see there but.
Given the price and with a view to longevity to avoid waste madness probably for me the best option found and thus 5 stars. The product not only there the way here ...
