The processing of the lamp looks solid and clean, after closer inspection there are no objections in terms of workmanship.
I've already looked at some of Osram and Phillips LED lamps and the bottom line was rather disappointed, especially since the LED technology is still relatively expensive. Speptisch I Bioledex the lamp screwed and turned and was equally surprised from the first moment - LIGHT!
A pleasant warm white light (more white, but to recognize no "sterility") with an illumination and luminosity as inferior to a light bulb or energy saving bulb into nothingness. Comparing to a 40W bulb I can confirm, if only by my perception. Known were also surprised positively and have asked whether the "really an LED lamp" is also.
The lamp developed a low to moderate heat. Hand warm / lukewarm strikes the LEDs themselves, the version with the large cooling fins is noticeably warmer, but can be easily touched by hand. The energy loss due to heat generation is thus signafikant less than the energy saving lamp (not to speak of the light bulb). (Of Phillips I have already experienced extremely hot LED lamps ...)
The price still seems a bit high (a point deduction), but that could be due to the low demand (in the population even in much of negative / inspection table). Either wait until the prices go down or are already making the migration / entry.
Conclusion: The lamp has a good workmanship, very good illumination and a brightness comparable to a 40W incandescent bulb. Given that even with Stiftung Warentest Bioledex the brand is clearly stung, I speak from a strong buy recommendation. These lamps can start the LED lighting era.
