- Estimated light output: equivalent to about 40-50W with conventional matt bulb. Definitely less light than 60W!
- Light color: in fact, with a slight pink tinge, but I do not find too bad. I like the color temperature very well, because they at least approximately equal to a conventional bulb. My feeling for you is certainly head and shoulders above the bluish or even greenish Funzeln from earlier LED generations, and also better than all the energy saving lamps, I know.
- Noise: if you have gaaaaaaanz fine ears, you can hear a faint hum. But is really very quiet.
- Appearance: is nice that the LED lamp at first sight really like a traditional old bulb looks, I like that. She is very petite definitely compared to many other LED lamps and the shape is classically handsome. From the gray leagues CFL tube lights we do not want to talk here. On closer inspection, unfortunately falls on the cheap processing and disdainful plastic material. But honestly: when one looks just as accurate to a powered-off light bulb? In the on state, the lamp certainly looks good.
- Delay / full brightness: perceptible, but very short delay. I would say that after 3 tenths of a second, ie 0.3 seconds, the lamp is on and has full luminosity. Without any problems.
- Smell: determine no smell, even after prolonged use
- Fit: fits through their "faithful" mold problems in all lamps, even those with very narrow diameter around the socket.
- Fibrillation: In the central field of vision I can perceive no flicker, and also many hours reading or working no problems. When I head rotations but, my perceiving a slight flicker in the far edge of the field, but that did not bother me. It is so weak that I do not even know if I do not just imagining me.
- Cost: finally a lamp with useful luminosity at a reasonable price (I paid just under 10 in October 2013).
- Energy savings: I have not measured it, but 6-7 watts are always better than 40-50 watts! Even compared with CFL energy-saving lamps of similar brightness that is still a savings of about 50%.
- Save money: I do not know if the lamp keeps the promised thousand hours. However, I do not even worth something, to make a serious effort to save energy.
- Shelf life: you have to see. I wear it for as soon as a bulb fails.
Conclusion:
A worthy successor to the fluorescent tubes that were unsatisfactory even after 20 years of development, especially the constant on / off such as in stairwells.
