The installation and use of the media are quite complex, it made me think to mount a telescope. There is no explanation leaflet, just pictures on the packaging that indicate the product features with photographs focused but no overall picture that shows how the user / trice lambda must use it in his car: where instead do we object? on the front taken on a special pedestal? There are no less than 10 buttons, levers or foot to operate the device. There's even an accessory which I did not understand what it was for.
The GPS holder is attached using a very effective suction cup (there is a lever to adhere and remove). The product comes with a disk that can stick horizontally (there is a sticker to remove) on the beach front of the vehicle and will serve as a support for door-GPS but we can no longer remove the disc (glue). Otherwise, of course, one can place the GPS holder on the windshield with the suction cup.
Warning, the object is large, when deployed with the GPS, it measures between 20 cm and 25 cm. Fixing the GPS is quite firm thanks to the springs that clamp the jaws and the jaws are protected with foam (press the button to release the jaws and to rule out).
The foot holder is attached to the jaw system by clipped pins which I hope will be stable.
The three-ball system to orient the device in any direction which is very convenient.
The finish is excellent but the product is not very discreet.
Everything is made of plastic (very hard) but two springs (jaws and the jaws button). I hope that with the use of plastic fasteners (screws for turning the unit eg) will remain stiff.
In conclusion, a complex product to rise but should not cause concern when installed, sophisticated, well finished, ergonomic, very reasonable price but large in size and whose solidity and reliability are experiencing any plastic (note though 5-year warranty, which is quite reassuring).
