We have long been waiting for, the (only) 4th album of exceptional artists who also reinvents itself with each LP. Quite we her idol Madonna precisely. What has, however, worked perfectly when grown-up "Stripped" or beautiful oldschool-oriented "Back To Basics", shoots here's something about target addition. "Bionic" acts soulless and overproduced partly mercilessly. It is not (something) revealing and latex-heavy booklet or the idea to follow the electro-pop trend. Rather Christina Aguilera disappointed here for the first time in her career also vocally. In 2/3 of the songs from your voice except namely no sound - the songs could have been even worse singing singers like Britney Spears, Kesha or Lady Gaga. Either way, the music acts like a Lady Gaga album, interpreted by someone else. The first single, "Not Myself Tonight" was as still hope. Is it really the perfect balance between Aguilera's big voice and the "new" electro sound. Songs like "Bobblehead", "Elastic Love", "Woohoo" or "Vanity" are only a shadow of Christina and entice more to advance through. "Bionic", "I Hate Boys" or "My Girls" already tend to go in the right direction and have at least single-potential. One bright spot, however, there: the middle. The 9 to 15 songs remind us of the Christina Aguilera, we all love and above all, of you listen their skills! "Lift Me Up" is the 5-star song on the LP (unfortunately the only one) and is full of feeling and vocal power. Evidence of the good cooperation between Aguilera and Linda Perry, with whom she would have done for this album rather often together. "All I Need", "I Am" and "You Lost Me" performance is also impressive, even if they still remain somewhat behind "Lift Me Up" back.
All in all, you can listen to the album. It swims with the current electric-trend, but is unfortunately often characterized by Lady Gaga & Co. almost indistinguishable. Highlights like "Lift Me Up" are unfortunately scarce, but the weak vocally presented faster songs weigh on something. The whole would not be so dramatic, would it not about Christina Aguilera, who always read their peers competitors with voice and individuality always look pale. More than 3 stars are therefore not in it - this was "Back To Basics" and "Stripped" just too strong!
