The sound quality is good esp. The mids and highs, and hum-free. The modulation on Dynavox stands with me almost on Max. The signal lamp goes on soft passages, but seems to have no effect. The Recording with Audacity 2.03 is not always quite so simple. At the iMac (Late 2006) the sound was distorted here and there suddenly for no reason. I then made my old Thinkpad WinXP continue - no problem. To display the red LED on the unit, the clipping (overdrive) is not so easy to recognize. That's a bit stupid because plates have very large dynamic differences and must be definitely adjusted here, depending on the disc. We must not let get crazy by the "confidence monitoring". The sound (Playthrough) on IBM Thinkpad is eg caves bad, but the same file on iMac played and played through Bose headphones sounds really good.
I think those who do not just high-end HiFi's handset, the machine can take good since probably most Vinyschätze no more "high-end" are in state.
Praxistip: Clean plate with carbon fiber brush and play board with such a high weight that the needle flexes properly. Yeah, that hurts, but the board may (for the last time?) Tolerated the 1x. Preliminary adjust to the loud parts of the record the pitch control on Dynavox.
Have fun listening and digitizing and Wiedentdecken all your vinyl treasures. - Uh-oh, what I see, "Lady Bump" was that really me who has bought the plate ?? ;-)
