Personally, as years of faithful (and now disappointed) Saviour Machine fan not regret buying the CD and the record company wants to thank you for the bold step.
I myself had in 2007 is still hope that the original last CD soon appear, but over time it became increasingly clear to me that Eric Clayton verrennt powerful. I as a fan with all the CDs, concert attendance, while collared props am now disappointed in my youth idols, but people can change and that is also aware.
I find it highly questionable if Eric Clayton already published Legend III.I meanwhile themselves as "very solid demo" and at the same time says, Legend III will a single "Single Project" released as and otherwise. That to me is - to put it in his words - "a crime against you, the consumer" because at the time of publication it was never mentioned.
And if Eric Clayton fails within 10 years, an (albeit tripartite) to publish CD, but now writes books, CDs and other new old hangs questionable actions will start, then is actually clear why Legend III.ii (or the " Single Project "Legend III) has not as yet appeared.
Whether Eric Clayton or MCM are with your publications in the law or not, I can not decide, just because I do not know the treaties (but that should all so go here), but you have to keep in mind:
Without the release of MCM there not also the version for free download. I think it's only fair to pay money for good music (that ultimately has to but everyone decide for themselves). I think the CD is typical Saviour Machine and have not fault it apart from the already mentioned little things with the booklet and the misspellings.
