This disk is different, which is another Cohen. Said one, noting that Phil Spector was involved. Bombastic might call some of the songs and especially the instrumentalisation. But the yearning for a "naked body" in "Memories" is also just the kitsch of life. But Cohen can not be beaten by Spector, his voice, his way of singing is ever destroyed. It is a charming attempt to bring together these two quantities. And it is a delightful plate, which could be called almost anything erotic.
