Death of a Ladies' Man (Audio CD)

Customer Review

First of all: this is a Leonard Cohen-disc and I lean to say that even the worst of this oeuvre melancholy Kandadiers is still moving, as most hochgequotete music that is so outstanding as far out of the window.

This work here you have now accurately count them. Why LC here the unspeakable Phil Spector (who now anyway - albeit for another crime - sits in yeast) has consulted me is not known, nor explainable.

So, this work was gelatinized with downright vernuschelt blended orchestral sounds, wherever I wish soulful sparseness, waft schmaltzy strings clouds and block the view of the actual song.

Here, the songwriting here is nothing worse than his other albums and the question of why it has made none of these songs to national celebrity can only be explained by this crime. Allegedly Cohen himself was the result anything but pleased, surprised not do me.

I would hope that this album (like it has done with EMI "Let It Be") exempt from the Spector sound and remastered hits the market, it would get loose four, probably even five stars from me.

To the required Obulus however is absolutely nothing verhackt, see first paragraph!
