But already in "Forever Yours" I pricked up their ears for the first time excited. Over the years this enthusiasm grew and since the second studio album of the guys is the music of Sunrise Avenue from my life here to stay. In many happy and difficult moments I have accompanied her songs and I also had the good fortune to live to be twice this. The last time a year ago, on an exclusive mini Akoustik gig with only 150 people who had won over the radio the courts. In a concert of "Unholy Ground" tour I was not there. When I wanted to buy tickets for Frankfurt were already sold out. This was probably due to the Samu-hype, which was triggered by his jury use in "The Voice of Germany". Even a bit of a shame, 3 years ago it was a much smaller frame and not just the big arenas that were now sold out suddenly. But I do not begrudge the guys of course, they have this success deserved.
Because of the missed concert, I decided to order from the "Best Of" the Deluxe Edition with DVD.
And this purchase .... my liiieeeber slide .... is worth every single penny! While I live DVD has a little disappointed with the "Out of Style" tour, which is an absolute masterpiece here! A poignant music experience! A journey through the wonderful sounds of Sunrise Avenue ... once quiet and touching to tears (I say this as a guy!), Then right rock on the 12! What Samu, Riku, Raul, Sami and Osmo have delivered in the O2 Arena in Hamburg, is pure madness! I've never seen a so so good concert DVD. My favorite songs are performed brilliantly and the final .... yes .... Geil halt :-)
Who does not see this live DVD, is your own fault! Already for 5 star!
And then there is still the CD .... Sure, on a "Best Of" can never make any fan right. Are too different simple tastes, even with the songs of your favorite band. Personally, I would have left out a few individual songs and a few others liked it. Nevertheless, it's a great mix of all studio albums and simply fun while listening. And so one must not permanently change the CDs ;-)
The 3 new songs are all a poem! I feel that after the boys increase over time but more and more. All because now comes really at a high level. The single "You can never be ready" is a typical sunrise anthem and simply sets the mood. Earwig Guarantee! In "Funkytown" something is once again experimenting what something reminds me of the album "Popgasm". Also, since the boys had ever tried other things. Here on this song there are hip-hop (?) - Passages from Tommy Lindgren. One can like it or not, in the whole, I like the song but good. Something else simply. The absolute tip, however, is "Nothing is Over" .... This is by far one of the best pieces that have Sunrise Avenue ever recorded. Runs just in a loop with me. Who is on the quieter sounds of Samu & Co., here is more than just well served. A Granaaaaaten ballad. Hats off!
I was skeptical at first ... "Best Of" CD with songs that you actually have all that ... and a live DVD, after watching the last not really found the screamer. But here and now I am absolutely happy to have brought the "Fairytales". Collection complete, a mix of the best songs, 3 great new songs and then the legendary DVD ...
Buy !!!! And end ;-)
