Having heard the devices Bose SoundLink mini, JBL and diverse batch of "low price manufacturers", I wanted to try me this here because of the low price again.
Here is my experience:
As soon as you accept the package, I noticed that it is very easy.
This was confirmed when unpacking! That part is really very easy for this "class" (~ 500g) ...
What is also very positive, is the packaging:
The device is packed in a white microfiber bag ('ll also use it to transport the equipment, for example in the backpack)
The GSB 120 feels very good. Ne kind soft-touch surface, therefore feels very valuable.
Had initially examined very closely the device. Here I do not really anything negative noticed.
I think it's the way good that the label (on the bottom, the user manual, etc.) are primarily in German.
In addition, the "paperwork" (manual, warranty conditions ...) something thicker, normal paper is printed. Although of secondary importance, but I find it pretty good.
Excited, I turned on the GSB 120 and coupled my phone via Bluetooth. This went very quickly and works perfectly so far. My mobile phone (Nokia 808 PureView) now connects to within 2-4 seconds after turning on the GSB 120th
Unfortunately fall in absolute silence a faint noise on when the speaker is turned on. The sound is very very quiet and with the reduction of the volume is also quieter. To sum it up bluntly: The noise only notice when you hold the device near your ear .... So not so tragic (there are plenty of stationary systems, the loud noise !!!).
For sound and level:
I have a very streaky Musikgeschmak, so I need an "all-rounder" .. Therefore, the device extensively with all sorts of genre sample belongs. All tests I've made with the Bluetooth connection!
I have my "test songs", so I can compare speakers well.
To my prior knowledge: I am building itself semiprofessionell speakers and smaller amplifier, have so little idea about the technology and now a "trained" hearing.
Drum'n'bass à la Pendulum:
Many deep bass, a lot of strong bass drum kicks and a hell of a clear image. To override all no problem for the GSB 120, but it starts at about 80-90% of the volume (80% rich but to the entire living room space filling to sonication). By this he makes clear, balanced, very spatially and is in the foreground. "It is jumped qasi" - am completely thrilled !! By passive radiator at the back, he also plays very deep ... Unusually for this case size !!!
Rock, punk rock, metalcore:
What can I say ....?! Clear, damn loud and space ... The electric guitar, whether distorted or clear - Perfect! The bass - Perfect! Drums (hi-hats, cymbals, bass drum) - clear, unadulterated, impeccable! Voices if clean vocals or Scream - no problem - no resonance - no distortion (! To about 90% of the possible volume) - Slowly, I love the part: D
Dubstep:
Glitsches, Harte electronic distortion - no problem for the GSB 120th
Electro, Minimal:
See above ;-)
Classical:
Piano, violin, etc. mastered this little part without problems.
Have the part now 3 hours under maximum load in the lack ..
The only negative is that all my roommate WG complain - "Open up your system quieter" - "My conditioning is of ... The small part here makes the 'noise'!" - "Unbelievable what was coming out"
My Conclusion:
Absolute buy recommendation! In this price range you bekommet well abolut nothing better ..
Since must themselves take stationary systems in eight!
Compared to Bose and JBL (which more than doubled cost !!) plays the instrument by Grundig, clear, balanced, honest and generally without all Effektkram, the Bose eg very gladly used.
Bose SoundLink Mini only has a very limited play of heights and therefore acts very dull ... (I Will just again emphasize :-))
So far, everyone I've shown this small, lightweight device Grundig was absolutely thrilled!
PS: Grundig is now one of a Turkish group, including developments in Turkey. You can tell the GSB 120 and also the current Grundig LED TVs that it is very good equipment with good to very good technical properties.
The guys in Turkey seem to have a few smart engineers at the start!
