Spliffers the first solo album

The Austrian-born and Berlin resident Mitteregger was a quarter of the former Federal German showpiece group Spliff and his first solo album of the proof of the fact that he saw creative, could reserve at least half of the total success in his personal account.

HW published in 1983 with NO MUT - not a girl a solo album in the truest sense of the word, because he sang, played all instruments, produced, arranged and then made a series of interviews for the necessary promotion.

Songs like "Rudi" (even aside from that he had ... uh ... borrowed the sound effect with the aufditschenden ping pong ball in Depeche Mode until today totally unique), the great "Ocean" or the deeply sad "Cold as' n stone "could have been his band can only wish the disappointment a year later with the largely mediocre album black to white and right after that blew apart.

Among the eight pieces of this album also two or three were not quite as remarkable (for example, somehow incongruous cover version of AC / DC-number), but it was easy to get over, because Mitteregger had precisely those cool-sensitive personality, the 99% all German singer then went off perfectly. Nevertheless, NO MUT held - not a girl unfortunately just six weeks in the German charts and only reached number 48. After all this I have but then made by buying the LP. ;-)
