The main reason for using a financial software should:
1. managing multiple accounts with a clearly structured user interface.
2. a quick overview of all the accounts and transactions
3. the application of high safety standards in data transmission

Those were the main reasons for the acquisition of a financial software for me.
After I (was inflated to the latter and unstable) of the products as ALF Banco 5 and Quicken 2014 was disappointed
I opted for the reference software Sparkassen "Star Money".
One ever anticipated:
StarMoney is sold in the previous version 9.0 with significant price differentials.
The cheapest Edition provides the Stadtsparkasse München 29.90 for the savings bank shop.
The most expensive version comes on the producer side of the Star Finanz GmbH.
There, the fully identical product costs all 49,90 (!).
Both versions can be tested for free before buying 60 days.
Findings after 5 days of intensive use:
The program interface is a disaster. Unstructured and confusing.
The single window for accounts lists, direct debit radar, transfers,
Financial status and outbox can only be roughly positioned.
The content within each window is displayed too small.
If one wants to change the order of the accounts indicated that is only possible on the left menu bar by selecting "Settings".
Under the "Settings" Choose "Overview" from.
After you click on the tab "Account List", marked the desired account and click the right buttons arranged movement.
Each time you click the selected account will be moved one line up or down.
To complete the operation, click on the Save button.
A total of 6 clicks (!) To bring to an account of the second row into the first row.

A click on the button "Transfer" on the top left, opens the window for "New transfers".

Meanwhile, I have the trial version of WISO Mein Geld Professional installed me.
So far I am very pleased with this financial software.
- Transfers can be carried out without problems (about the SEPA function).
- Auto banks are in the sales query (The banks allow for StarMoney not have access) support.
- Clear and clearer structure of the home (windows can be moved with the mouse).
- Contents of the window can be easily adapted.
- Each displayed window can be hidden or replaced by other windows.

- The portfolio management is simple and clear.
- Only downside: The term is - as well as in the control software from the same manufacturer - limited to 1 year.
