While not a purge, "Flick of the Switch" shows still panting of a group that, after laying two legendary albums ("Highway To Hell" and "Back In Black") and a very good ("For Those about to rock "), is struggling to give birth to compounds worthy of the name. However, this album contains its share of surprises ("Nervous Shakedown", "Guns For Hire") and outperforms its bland successor, bad "Fly On The Wall", if that thanks to a still adequate production. "Flick of the Switch" is not within the top five of Australian combo of albums to have an emergency, but has the merit of providing a hard rock effective ("Landslide"!) As we did more!
