As a good compromise to me appeared the Siemens Iron with steam generator.
In fact, the steam output of the iron is superior to the old far, heavy fabrics such as jeans can be ironed from one side. The steam goes through and flipping you can save.
Even the steam blast brings high performance.
I like to use the "Eco Mode", because the steam output seems to me well dosed and the water in the tank lasts longer.
In mode "Max" more steam is constantly available.
The heat is the selection accordingly and the iron slides well on the laundry.
From the size and handling the iron is the old device par, for me So perfectly fine.
The water tank lock the many have complained I find however insufficient - let's see how long the holding.
The water consumption is due to the high steam capacity, quite high.
Some reviewers have noted that no film on the soleplate and stickers are available contrary to the description in the manual.
This I have found.
A demand here at Amazon revealed that some buyers no films were also present.
The customer service from Siemens explained that some dealers would remove the films, but usually - the operating instructions accordingly - sticker and foil should be present.
(Communication with the customer service from Siemens is definitely reliable).
This matter diluted somewhat the good impression - the device works very well, however, so I kept it and am very happy with it.
