Admittedly, the X-Fix is a reasonably solid car seat. Convince he relies primarily on its flexibility, because it can be mounted with or without Isofix. Due to its light weight it can also be easily transported over long distances. Negative is the somewhat clunky mounting Isofix; especially the Removal can sometimes be an ordeal. But what does not go for a winner: The belt slips happy times from the upper belt guide when a child moves in the seat; eg if it is while driving forward bends to pick up something from the floor. This happens in various vehicles (eg VW Touran or Renault Modus). We had to frequently interrupt trips to correctly thread the belt. Conclusion: Children are not crash-test dummies, and a child's seat should not be safe in the laboratory, but in everyday life. I'd probably rather not purchase this seat.
