For DVB-T reception we live quite unfavorable (approximately 30 kilometers from the transmitter, valley, dense development in Altort). For our location and a rooftop aerial is recommended. Aired with us are 12 public service channels in the UHF range jeweil 3 packages with horizontal polarization. An experiment with the antenna Technisat TT1 TechniSat Digitenne TT1 DVB-T indoor antenna was rather unsatisfactory. Had they received through the antenna alignment arms on the windowsill a channel package reasonably, the other 2 packages were gone. That would have meant constant realignment of the antenna arms. Annoying! In addition, the extended antennae are quite bulky. Quite different is the Maximum DA 6000! Immediately after the really easy connection and after I had the flat antenna simply parked on the windowsill, immediately a signal has been received! Without meticulous alignment every 12 transmitters come in good quality on the screen! However, the antenna in such bad reception conditions must at the window / stand on the windowsill. Through thick reinforced concrete / masonry walls themselves this antenna can capture a signal. By creating small size (about A5) this antenna falls but barely. A small supplied Stand (also for wall or pole mounting use) leaves the antenna are quite safe. A small drawback: Between OK pedestal and bottom antenna is for the antenna connector (larger connector - designed for outdoor use as well) very little space - the cable must be slightly bent. I highly recommend this antenna for similar reception conditions, it has an excellent price / performance ratio!
