So now that long-awaited second album from me the Swedish heavy metallers from Falun / Börlänge who partially founded from former members Sabaton. To this was then Patrik Johansson of Astral Doors vocalist, and even Stefan Eriksson, the Volturyon bassist. Bot the debut album "The Killer Angels" 2013 crunchy heavy metal, so the new output surpasses the debut though narrowly, but still. To plate: "Gods & Generals" firstonce awaits with a superb cover artwork that also just does not miss a folding vinyl album its effect. 12 tracks spread over 55:50 minutes provide consistently crisp, high-quality heavy metal music. My favorite songs are also considered out tips are: "War Of The World", with a very nice classical intro. "USS Monitor", "Tears From The North" and the brilliant "Gods and Generals". Who knows Patrik Johansson knows that his voice has a striking resemblance to the unfortunately late Ronnie James Dio as brings back memories ... Even after several Hördurchgängen I like the new album of Sweden Good to very good, although some pieces to overcharge a bit come along / pompous. This is but complain at relatively high levels. The overall impression is okay and I have arrived at 4.5 stars. Therefore I round on 5 stars on (Genre relation). Conclusion: The Sweden of CIVIL WAR have narrowly topped with their second output debut. If you like good heavy metal, can access as confidently.
