The function is quite good, ie. it recognizes the charging status and the polarity of the inserted batteries and then loads it into a proper speed. The build quality is really high Seeming. The USB port provides 1A charging current, ie. it also iPad4 and other devices are loaded with high power requirements.
Shortcomings which to ponder: - The battery can only be charged in pairs; not really a modern device for a sales pitch - The display is readable when viewed almost perpendicular to this; but I wanted the charger actually hang on the wall, then I could not see the charging status
