- The Sony MS 430 is in the size class at the time probably the stylishte Speaker product. Hanschmeichlerqualität since the tube is made of a piece of aluminum. Good workmanship. Here fall the white Kunstoffkappen on the sides from the touch yet strong. Very practical to use, since not a single cable. Compatible with most mobile phones (even if the tube probably not ideal to work as a simultaneous stand for all mobile phones). If something did not work - workaround with adapter cable whenever possible (but is not supplied).
- The power turns on and off automatically evident. Pilot light or sontige controller / switch / gibts not. Unfortunately, there is also no connection for charging, you should use rechargeable batteries.
- The addition to the design most important: the sound. Caveat: the small tube has only one speaker! The "grid" on the side of the plug is just a dummy. Stereo mode is therefore not possible. Unfortunately, the small speakers is relatively quiet (tested with Samsung Wave, iPhone 4); this in spite of the active control. At the highest level for the size of acceptable sound; Volume slightly higher than my mobile phone - just override the mobile phone speaker much faster; especially in the bass range a significant improvement to the phone speakers. In the heights but rather less I find. In a nutshell, one should expect limited by the size of miracles - especially concerning the possible volume. An improvement to the mobile phone speakers I know there in any case.
- I have no experience yet in terms of battery life; Duracell batteries are supplied three. According to Sony details the batteries should last 12 hours.
Overall, I scarce 4 stars.
