Stylish, great sound, variable!

First, the exterior: The headphones look modern, stylish and high quality. The Headband is flexible, the individual head shape adapts easily and sits comfortably, which is not least thanks to the super soft padding on the upper head. The ride-on ear sound engines (on-ear) have this soft cushion, so that even after long wearing no ear or headaches occur. All cushions are super soft and white and the ear-shape conform to super.

Ironing, listeners and other parts can be easily and effortlessly with a soft cloth (I use this with a slightly damp microfibre cloth).
The Headband and the connection cable with control panel lässen to change very easily, because the sound engines can be removed easily and quickly. Thus, the headphones can easily customize your own, each outfit. However, this comes at a price, the different-colored head bands there from about 29, - to buy euros, even the colored cables, it is regarded as accessories in addition to purchase (Sometimes there are also actions where the purchase an additional band in delivery is included).

A black neoprene carrying case is included, you can, thanks to the sturdy metal eyelet hang up. At first I was sorry that you're not compiled the headphones and thus can fold small, but you can not just have everything ;-). Thanks to the sturdy metal loop on a Pocket corner allows the headphones practically hanging on a hook in the room and is therefore always ready to hand.

So, now to the application and to the sound:

According to the description the SOL Republics sin obviously mainly for use with the various Apple devices developed but this is not apparent at first glance from the product description. Anyway, with us, the headphones are both tried the ipod as well as on various Samsung smartphones and used. We found that can be adjusted properly in Apple devices by means of cable remote control both volume and music selection, stop and play, while at the Samsung devices that we tested (Galaxy Note, S2), the volume can not be controlled via the remote control, all other tools function properly. During a telephone conversation with Samsung can use the remote control the conversation are accepted and completed, but again the volume control does not work, what I feel, however, not as severe.
Even the laptop can connect the headphones, but without using the cable operating unit.

I am with the sound - this really should be the most important thing on a headset ;-) - very satisfied. Bass and treble are clear and it's fun to hear both classical and pop, rock or even country music with the SOL Republic.
